Scott Reiner

Co-Founder;

President

Scott Reiner serves as Co-Founder of The Reiner Foundation. Now retired after over 25 years working as a senior healthcare executive, with the last 8 years having served as the CEO, of a multibillion-dollar, faith-based hospital and clinic system based in Western United States. Additionally, Scott both chairs and serves on multiple boards including, international development, academic, and health association organizations. Scott hopes to fulfill his calling to serve people in need and to help underserved communities achieve their desired wellbeing. He brings his skills and expertise in leadership, governance, and strategy, along with his philanthropic spirit, humor, and curiosity, to his work within the foundation. Scott holds a BS in nursing from Pacific Union College and a master’s degree in health administration from California State University - Northridge. Scott and his wife, Margo, live in Northern California with their Australian Shepherd, Bixby. In his free time Scott enjoys traveling, photography, and overlanding.

Margo Reiner

Co-Founder;

Secretary

Margo Reiner serves as Co-Founder of The Reiner Foundation. Margo brings a BA in business and fashion merchandising from The American College for the Applied Arts to her work within the foundation. Her history of retail management and diverse volunteer work provides her with a wide range of skills, including organization, communication, and creativity. As a response to God’s call to service, Margo hopes to use her skills and experience to support programs that advance women’s empowerment to improve the health and wellbeing of their communities. Margo lives in Northern California with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Bixby. In addition to volunteering, Margo has a variety of interests, including traveling, hiking, interior design, and health and fitness.

Rees Reiner

Programs & Operations;

Treasurer

Rees Reiner serves as Director of Programs and Operations for The Reiner Foundation. He is a public health professional who has worked in the US and internationally. He brings his skills and expertise in program design and implementation, proposal writing, and data & financial analytics to his role within the foundation. Rees holds a BS in business administration - management from Walla Walla University, a master’s of public health in global health from Loma Linda University, and a certificate in international development from University of British Columbia. His passion for international service started while volunteering as an elementary school teacher in Malawi. Since then, he has led design and implementation of community health and development projects in Zambia, Chad, and the Philippines. When not working, Rees enjoys backpacking around the world, outdoor sports,  craft coffee, and travel photography.

Ali Reiner Trolsrud

Communications;

Founding Board Member

Ali Reiner Trolsrud serves as Communications Manager for The Reiner Foundation. She brings her education and experience from a BA in English from Walla Walla University and a master’s of science in communication from Portland State University. Ali first discovered her desire to help meet the needs of people on a service trip to India in 2010. Since then, she has dedicated her time and energy to learning how she can combine her passion for people and writing to make a difference in the lives of others. In addition to her role within the foundation, Ali works as an independent copywriter and editor. She and her husband, Simen, currently reside in Norway. In her free time Ali likes to travel, bake, do yoga, and explore the great outdoors.
